OMEGA x Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch 1965
Until now, most MoonSwatch releases have drawn inspiration from celestial bodies or the Earth itself. The MoonSwatch 1965 instead honors the year the OMEGA Speedmaster received flight qualification from NASA. Its 42mm grey Bioceramic case sits on a grey Velcro strap with light grey stitching and houses a quartz chronograph movement. The white dial has two unique subdials at 10 and 2 o'clock, topped by the numbers 19 and 65 and set to total 19 hours and 65 minutes, respectively. The black hour markers, hour and minute hands, and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova, are protected by a box-shaped biosourced glass crystal, and are surrounded by a black Bioceramic bezel with a white tachymeter scale. The MoonSwatch 1965 will be available at select Swatch stores beginning March 1st.
