Orient Express x LVMH Luxury Travel

Orient Express put its first trains to track back in 1883, and, now, more than 140 years later, they're committing to broadening the brand's reach by partnering with luxury conglomerate LVMH. Acquired by French hospitality company Accor in 2022, Orient Express plans to expand beyond ultra-luxury locomotives, thanks to LVMH's strategic financial assistance. This means even more high-end trains, of course, but Orient Express hotels in Rome and Venice and a fleet of Orient Express ships, too. (The first one is currently being built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France.) The debut hotels will open in 2025, adding to both partners' broad-reaching empires, which already include Cheval Blanc and Belmond (LVMH) and Raffles, Fairmont, and Potel & Chabot (Accor).
