Oris Big Crown 1917 Watch

The history at Oris goes deep. Even deeper than they initially realized. Recent research revealed that Oris made their first pilots watch in 1917, more than two decades earlier than they previously believed, and the Big Crown 1917 Limited Edition pays homage to this significant find. The timepiece itself is a throwback in many ways, featuring the same onion-shaped big crown, 20th-century Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, domed glass, and vintage Oris logo. And there are plenty of modern touches as well, including a polished stainless steel case and pin buckle, bubble-curved glass made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and Arabic numerals and hands finished with luminescent Super-LumiNova. Limited to 1,917 pieces.
