Otsuka Lotec No. 9 Watch
Japanese designer Jiro Katayama is known for his industrial-leaning aesthetic, and the Ōtsuka Lōtec No. 9 is no exception. Arguably the brand's first true luxury timepiece, it was in development for over nine years and is inspired by vintage Japanese power meters. Its in-house, manually-wound Cal. SSGT movement is partially visible through the box sapphire case, with a tourbillon at 6 o'clock, and powers two transparent, overlapping discs to show the jumping hours and rewinding minutes, a power reserve indicator, and a striking hours feature with a fittingly industrial tone and a partially visible gong. Production details have yet to be announced, but the watch will be produced in limited numbers.
