Otto Aviation Phantom 3500 Jet
As much as window seats are coveted, it turns out those portholes are a huge detriment to aerodynamics. By getting rid of them and replacing them with high-definition digital screens, Otto Aviation's Phantom 3500 business jet promises 35% less drag and a 50% reduction in fuel use. The super-midsize business jet is powered by twin turbofan engines and is projected to have a range of over 3,600 miles with a cruise altitude of 50,000 feet. A preliminary design review should be concluded in October this year, with maiden flight tests to begin in early 2027, and deliveries expected by 2030.
