Palais Garnier 'Phantom of the Opera' Box of Honour
Opened in 1875, Paris' Palais Garnier theater served as inspiration for Gaston Leroux's book The Phantom of the Opera. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical of the same name, the theater is partnering with Airbnb to offer its Box of Honour for a special one-night stay. In addition to the luxury accommodations, the stay includes a musical-themed tour of backstage areas, a trip to the underground lake that inspired the Phantom's home, and VIP treatment for an exclusive recital of the Paris Opera Academy. The stay will take place on Sunday, July 16, with bookings opening on March 1.
