Pan Am Journeys
Founded in 1927, Pan Am was one of the 20th Century's most beloved airlines, at one point serving 87 countries on six continents. It shut down in 1991, but now it's making a comeback thanks to Beyond Capricorn. The first modern journey, Pan Am: Tracing the Transatlantic Routes, recently departed from JFK Airport in NYC on its way to Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London, and Foynes in Ireland. Flight attendants in replicas of original Pan Am uniforms, the Pan Am logo on the fuselage and tail of the Yankee Clipper II Boeing 757 aircraft, and Business Class lie-flat seating helped usher guests into the golden era of the Jet Age. Thanks to strong response, the next adventure, Tracing the Transpacific, has been announced for an April 2026 departure from San Francisco. The 21-day journey will include stops in Tokyo, Siem Reap, Cambodia, Singapore, Darwin, Sydney, Auckland, and Nadi, Fiji; reservations are open now.
