Pebble 2 Duo & Time 2 Smartwatches
Pebble's smartwatches were simple, beloved, and among the first on the market. The company was sold to Fitbit in 2016 and eventually absorbed by Google. Now Pebble is back under the leadership of company founder Eric Migicovsky with the Pebble 2 Duo and Pebble Time 2 smartwatches. The 2 Duo has a 1.26" black-and-white e-paper display, a polycarbonate case, a speaker, 30-day battery life, and offers step and sleep tracking. The Pebble Time 2 builds on the prior model of the same name, with a 64-color 1.5" e-paper touchscreen, a stainless steel 316 case and buttons, a heart rate monitor, a compass, a multicolour RGB LED backlight, and a flat glass crystal. Both watches sit on standard 22mm straps and are available for pre-order now; the Pebble 2 Duo is set to begin shipping soon, while the Pebble Time 2 will ship in December.
