Pebble Index 01 Smart Ring

Most smart rings aim to track health in place of a smartwatch or fitness band. As with most things Pebble, its new Index 01 ring doesn't try to do too much. Instead of filling it with sensors, it has a single button on the top. Press it, and the microphone will pick up your voice and record what is said. Once the wearer's phone is in range, the recording is transferred via Bluetooth to the Pebble app, where it's converted to text, then processed by an LLM which chooses whether to create a note, add it to reminders, or save it for later. All processing happens on-device, so the recording stays private. The ring itself is made from stainless steel, is water-resistant, and has a battery that lasts for years, so it never needs to be charged. Compatible with iOS and Android, it's available for order now in three colors, and will begin shipping in March.
