Peerless Distilling Bourbon
In 2015, Peerless Distilling officially re-opened their doors after 100 years of inactivity. Since then they've released an award-winning rye whiskey, and last week unveiled their first bourbon for purchase without a prescription since Prohibition. The four-year-old bourbon weighs in at 107 proof, and was crafted by fourth-generation Master Distiller Corky Taylor using grains that are milled, cooked, fermented, double-distilled and barreled under one roof at the distillery. The first batch sold out in less than a day, but more is just around the corner.
