Perrelet Turbine Splash Watch
Perrelet's Turbine series is defined by a 12-blade dial mechanism that only spins with wrist movement. When stationary, it obscures the subdial beneath, while vigorous movement causes it to spin fast enough to become effectively invisible. In the case of the Turbine Splash, the subdial features a Jackson Pollock-like pattern of splattered fluorescent colors against a black background. The indices on the outer track mirror the bold colors beneath, filled with tritium for luminescence while the hour and minute hands get white Super-LumiNova fill. The 44mm case is made from polycarbonate and carbon fiber and houses a self-winding, COSC- and Chronofiable-certified P-331-MH in-house movement. It sits on a black alligator-pattern leather strap with rubber lining and comes with an additional black rubber strap; the watch is limited to 99 examples.
