Persol x APC 649 Sunglasses
Designed in 1957 for tram drivers in Torino, Italy, Persol's 649 is arguably the company's most well-recognized silhouette. This made it an ideal choice for their first collaboration, done with French clothing brand A.P.C. Instead of altering the classic shape, the two brands decided to create new colorways. Among the three, this rendering in white acetate is our favorite, created in homage to Kurt Cobain's iconic cat-eye Christian Roth frames and finished with gray gradient lenses. They arrive in a co-branded, two-tone Persol x A.P.C. snap carry case.
