Pitchfork Ranch
Set on nearly 100,000 acres in Wyoming, Pitchfork Ranch is a gem of the American West. It was founded in 1878, is still a working ranch, with up to 1,300 head of cattle, and at one point served as the backdrop for Marlboro's iconic cowboy ads. The property includes eight residences, two barns made of hand-hewn timber, working pens, and Stone House, a 1914 building made of hand-cut sandstone that serves as the ranch's central hub. Over six miles of private Greybull River frontage provide prime trout fishing, and the ranch is also in the winter range for the Cody Elk Herd, providing big game hunting opportunities.
