Polestar
With the launch of the Polestar 2, the Sweden-based car company is parting ways with the automobile industry. They're breaking away from tradition with a design-forward approach led by CEO Thomas Ingenlath. Although their sleek, minimalist exteriors set the brand apart, Polestar's methods aren't just limited to aesthetics. Advanced technologies play a vital role in the future with interiors run by Google-built user interfaces. While their debut hybrid initiated the separation from conventional practices, they're aiming to speed up the transition from fossil fuels to electrification by making each of their new vehicles 100% electric. But their innovative designs aren't the only thing that sets them apart. Instead of conventional car lots, their electrified vehicles will be sold in Polestar Spaces by knowledgeable professionals, rather than commission-hungry salesmen. Therefore, Polestar has no choice but to go their separate way and let the industry down easy with an emotional goodbye letter.
