Porsche Design x Hodinkee Chronograph 1 LE

Taking cues from his earlier car designs, which included the iconic 911, Chronograph 1 was one of the first products designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche after leaving Porsche Auto. Debuted in 1973, designed for Porsche owners, and sold at dealerships initially, the Chornograph 1 was different from other chronographs on offer because it came with a matte black chromed steel case and bracelet. This new reissue with Hodinkee comes with an updated titanium case and bracelet coated in a matte-black Titanium Carbide. Enthusiast-servicing details like the original Porsche Design dial logo, a dual-language day wheel (English and Japanese), the "1 mile" graphic rehaut, and a red "H" at 6'o clock nodding to Hodinkee make this a collector's item as much as it is an update. The watch is powered by the in-house, 48-hour power reserve WERK 0L141, a COSC-certified movement.
