Prodrive Racing Simulator
Designed in collaboration with Ian Callum and originally debuted in 2022, Prodrive's Racing Simulator is getting some notable upgrades for 2022. The 16-layer, steam-formed, lacquered beech loop, crafted by British superyacht builder Pendennis, lets the carbon fiber monocoque cockpit appear to float within. Connolly supplies the leather for the driver's seat, while Vaughtons is creating unique plaques for each one. Good Wool is tailoring bespoke covers, and Bang & Olufsen is supplying the audio, via either HX headphones, optional Beoplay H100 cans, or an external Beosound A9 speaker. On the technical side, it's powered by a computer with a 12GB GeForce RTX graphics card and 16GB memory running Assetto Corsa software, hooked to a 49" 5K resolution curved monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Precision Sim Engineering LM Pro steering wheel, Simucube 2 PRO steering motor, and a mechanical, electrically adjustable pedal box.
