PXG 0311 GEN7 & Black Ops Irons
Marine veteran and GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons started PXG in 2014 with the aim of building the best golf clubs possible. That effort continues ten years later with the 0311 GEN7 and Black Ops Irons. The GEN7 offers the thinnest face in golf — just 0.050" — and a new proprietary internal polymer called QuantumCOR that is lightweight, responsive, and allows for more weight to be positioned low and on the edges, pushing the club's energy transfer to the USGA limit. Like the GEN6, it offers customizable weighting and comes in P and XP versions, the former offering more workability for skilled players, and the latter maximizing forgiveness for higher handicappers. For those looking for even greater game improvement, the all-new Black Ops line employs a dual cavity design that removes mass from the center to increase forgiveness. The cavities are filled with the same XCOR2 polymer found in the 0311 GEN6 line, and join a thicker top rail, larger face profile, and increased offset to help golfers better their game.
