Ray-Ban Stories Smart Glasses
Staying present when you've got a screen in front of you can be a chore. Developed in collaboration with Facebook, Ray-Ban Stories are new smart glasses that let wearers capture and share photos and video, listen to music, and take phone calls all from their frames. Each pair has two 5-megapixel cameras integrated into the temples, as well as discrete open-ear speakers and a three-microphone audio array that works with Beamforming technology and a background noise suppression algorithm to deliver clear calls. The frames have a dedicated capture button for photos and video, a hard-wired LED that lights up when the cameras are being used, and a capacitive touchpad on the side of the stems for audio control. They're also compatible with Facebook Assistant voice commands and work with the privacy-focused, service-agnostic Facebook View app. They arrive with a traditional sunglasses bag as well as a charging case to extend the 50 video/200 photo battery life. 20 style combinations are available, including both sunglasses and eyeglasses in three silhouettes: Round, Meteor, and the iconic Wayfarer.
