Ressence Type 11

Until now, Ressence built around a third-party ETA movement, the same Swiss ébauche supplier behind countless other brands, and then stacked their ROCS module on top. The Type 11 changes that. The Belgian independent's first in-house caliber, the RW-01, was built from the ground up with a single purpose: to power the ROCS. Ressence's patented Orbital Convex System displays hours, minutes, seconds, and power reserve on co-planar rotating discs under a domed sapphire crystal, with no hands, no crown, and no conventional indices. Twin barrels deliver a 60-hour power reserve, enough to set it down Friday night and find it still running Monday morning. A patented indicator at 12 o'clock uses ceramic micro-balls to track the charge. Winding happens automatically or through an unrestricted caseback lever. The 41mm grade 5 titanium case wears a pebble-shaped silhouette, sits water resistant to 3 ATM, and comes in three colorways, each with color-matched seconds markers and power reserve balls. It's available on leather, rubber, hybrid, or titanium Milanese, and a sapphire caseback window puts the RW-01 on display.
