Richard Mille RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic Chronograph
Richard Mille has been a partner of the Le Mans Classic since its inception in 2002. To honor the 100th anniversary of that vintage race's parent, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the watchmaker has created a special limited edition piece. Dubbed the RM 72-01 Automatic Winding Flyback Chronograph Le Mans Classic, the watch has a Quartz TPT case in white and green to match the race's colors. It's powered by an in-house Calibre CRMC1 skeletonized movement with automatic bidirectional winding, and support for hours, minutes, small seconds, a flyback chronograph, gearbox-like crown function indicator, stop seconds, and a vertical date indicator at 7 o'clock. The movement, complete with grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges, is visible both through the dial and via the sapphire caseback. The watch sits on a white rubber strap and is limited to 150 examples.
