Ritter Goods x RUF CTR Yellowbird Scale Model
The year is 1987. Ferrari had just introduced the F40; Porsche had released the 959 the previous year. The Lamborghini Countach was reaching the apex of its nearly 20-year-old design, and Group B regulations rallying had spawned both the Ferrari and Porsche cars. The Group B regulations were rescinded in 1986 due to a spate of horrific crashes, and Ferrari and Porsche would offer both cars to the public despite no longer having a series to race in. Into this incredible set of circumstances came the RUF CTR, forever known as the Yellowbird thanks to a road test by Road & Track magazine, where it out-performed the F40, 959, and Countach. The rest is history, and Ritter Goods is nodding to the legendary car with this 1/43 scale model of the CTR. Rendered in Ritter's signature cartoonish proportions, this officially-licensed model gives fans of the original a way to own the once-in-a-lifetime car without buying one of the 29 originals.
