Rolls-Royce Coachbuild Collection
Rolls-Royce has been coachbuilding since the beginning. In the earliest days, specialist craftspeople would construct a body to nearly any form a client could imagine, not unlike commissioning a suit on Savile Row. The modern chapter began with Sweptail in 2017, continued with Boat Tail in 2021 and Droptail in 2023, and now takes its most ambitious form yet with the Coachbuild Collection: strictly limited, never-to-be-repeated motor cars with wholly unique body styles, fully homologated and built to be driven. Entry is by invitation only through Rolls-Royce's global Private Office network, offered exclusively to collectors with a deep affinity for the marque's design principles. What separates the Collection from a bespoke commission is the experience woven around it: access to closed testing facilities, Rolls-Royce's innermost design studios, the ateliers of master craftspeople, and private events in the world's most desirable destinations. The first Collection will be fully electric. The waiting list, naturally, isn't open.
