Rosewood Concrete House
Next to the residential tower at 8899 Beverly Boulevard, Olson Kundig also created eight homes, each with a specific theme. The Concrete House's theme is self-evident. Built with panel-formed, site-cast concrete and exposed steel, the firm's grasp on minimal elegance is clear. Large swathes of glass allow in plentiful natural light, which illuminates the three bedrooms and three and a half baths that are spread across 2,962 square feet. Highlights of the interior include a double-height entryway, chef's kitchen, and multi-panel doors that open onto the patio with a plunge pool and spa.
