Rossinavi Solsea Hybrid Catamaran
FuseProject founder Yves Béhar and yacht builder Rossinavi released a new catamaran at the Design Miami 2024 event. Dubbed the Solsea, the twin-hull design is a hybrid-powered superyacht, the result of a three-year development period. The entire sky-facing surface of the Solsea is covered in solar panels, helping charge the battery and power on-board systems. This gives the Solsea enough electric power for a day on the waves, up to 90% electric for multi-day trips, and can cross the Atlantic using 80% electric power. When moored, the Solsea goes into hibernation mode to conserve power. The Solsea features fast charging, with a full charge coming in five hours when connected to shore power.
