Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
At first, flip-style smartphones were little more than throwback curiosities. Now on its fifth iteration, Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip is starting to warrant legitimate consideration. It's powered by a flagship-class Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and has a 3.4-inch outer screen that's legitimately useful for responding to messages, checking the weather, controlling music, and other quick tasks that would require a full wake-up on slab-style devices. That screen wraps around a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 12MP Wide Camera, with a 10MP sensor on the inside paired with a wider lens than on its predecessor. Also inside is a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED, which is able to fold flat thanks to a new hinge design that also contributes to its IPX8 rating for water resistance.
