Samsung Infinity Flex Display
They've been teasing it for years, and while they might not be the first to market, the Samsung Infinity Flex Display will likely mark the mainstream debut of foldable devices. Revealed at their annual developer conference, the tech combines a 4.58" cover display with a 7.3" internal display that folds up when not in use. That interior screen will be able to display three apps at once, in part thanks to the baked-in foldable support coming to Android. Mass-production of the display is said to begin in the next few months, although it remains to be seen when we might see a device built around it.
