Tern Elektron E-Bike
When it comes to urban transport, electric bikes are a great alternative to cars. Unfortunately, they tend to be cumbersome, either too large or too heavy to fit on other public transportation or bring into the office or apartment. The Tern Elektron E-Bike is neither. It's the result of a collaboration with Bosch, whose German-engineered drivetrain and battery power the bike, enabling a maximum range of up to 100 km. A trio of sensors takes thousands of measurements a minute, adjusting boost on the fly, and the entire bike folds down in under ten seconds, letting it easily slip onto the subway or into a trunk for out-of-town use.
