The Holme in Regent's Park
A London mansion is breaking records as the most expensive home currently for sale. Named the Holme, the 209-year-old estate is located on four acres in the city's acclaimed Regent Park and was designed by James Burton for his father, architect Decimus Burton. Its two-story exterior features the UK's classic Regency style and welcomes guests with a grand entry defined by an arch of columns. The interior spans 29,000 square feet and includes a staggering 40 bedrooms, eight garages, a library, a sauna, and eight garages, while the manicured lawns overlook the lake. The property has been in the hands of the Saudi Royal family for nearly 30 years, but after an expired loan, it has been repossessed and is being listed by Beauchamp Estates and Knight Frank.
