The Slow Hotel
The name says it all. A creation of George Gorrow, the designer behind streetwear label Ksubi, and his wife and model Cisco, The Slow Hotel brings an infectious, laid-back surfer attitude to the coast of Bali. Gorrow worked with GFAB Architects to create the 12-room accommodation's "Tropical Brutalism" style, with an exterior clad in Bangkirai hardwood screens and an interior focused on the couple's art collection. Also on site are a gallery, a flagship store for their latest lifestyle brand, and the aptly named Eat & Drink, which serves as a café by day and private dining spot in the later hours. Music from LA's Reverberation Radio plays throughout the property, acting as a backdrop to your relaxed stay.
