Tiffany Airways Airplane Clock
Tiffany & Co. and Swiss clockmaker L'Epee are celebrating the golden age of aviation with the Airways Airplane Clock. Part of the Time Objects collection, the mechanical clock is inspired by aviation in the pre-WWII era. The movement sits exposed in the cockpit, with hours and minutes displayed on rotating steel discs in the nose, with the canopy acting as the hour and minute indicator. Rotating the cowling just behind the propeller winds the movement when moved counterclockwise or sets the time when rotated clockwise. The Airways Airplane Clock measures 14 inches long by 17.4 inches wide and 10.6 inches high and weighs 6.6 pounds with an eight-day power reserve.
