Tron AI Vision Robotic Mower
The Roomba might be coming to the yard. Airseekers, a Hong Kong-based startup, is Kickstarting the Tron, an electric autonomous mower powered by AI. With no perimeter wiring or complicated setup needed, the Tron cuts and mulches on the same pass. A six-camera system eliminates the need for GPS signals for more accurate mowing and obstacle avoidance. The Tron can climb a 65% grade and cut up to 1.5 acres on a single charge, with a cutting height of 1.2 to 3.5 inches. The mower can even dock itself into the charger automatically. The project has been fully funded with early bird tiers still available.
