UDX Airwolf eVTOL Hoverbike
Czech company UDX is vying for the first flying motorcycle on the market with the Airwolf. Currently in the design phase, the Airwolf is designed around a carbon fiber airframe, fully electric power, and four ducted fans from Italian company VasyFan — in essence, a tandem seat, open cockpit tiltrotor aircraft. This gives the Airwolf vertical takeoff and landing capability, with the two winglets offering some gliding ability in the case of an emergency. UDX expects the Airwolf to have a 30-mile range and a top speed of 140 MPH, with longer flight times coming as battery and software tech advances. As with anything flight-related, development is a marathon, not a sprint. UDX hopes for a commercially-available Airwolf to hit the market sometime in 2028.
