Ur-Werk UR-220 SL Asimov Watch
The latest release in the UR-220 line has some science fiction vibes and inspiration. Urwerk founder Martin Frei was inspired by legendary sci-fi author Isaac Asimov's book Into the Nightfall, which tells a tale about darkness that falls on a planet normally under the sun at all times. The all-black timepiece draws from that story with hours displayed on three rotating pyramid-shaped Super-Luminova blocks that are connected to a 3D minutes indicator. It's powered by the brand's in-house manually wound movement with a 48-hour power reserve and brings back the Oil Change indicator on the case back which shows the accumulated engine running time of the watch.
