USPS First Moon Landing Stamps
July 20 marks the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. To commemorate the occasion, the U.S. Postal Service is releasing two new forever stamps. The first features a photo of Buzz Aldrin in his spacesuit on the surface of the moon, while the second is a shot of the moon in the night sky, with the Apollo 11 lunar module landing site in the Sea of Tranquility marked with a yellow dot. An image of the lunar module itself will be included on the selvage of the stamps, which will be released later this year.
