The Cecil Hotel has quite a reputation, and it's not for its friendly from staff and plush bedding. The Downtown Los Angeles hotel has been known as a haven for serial killers as well as a crime scene for multiple murders and disappearances. Most recently, the building is where college student Elisa Lam mysteriously disappeared, producing one of the most bizarre evidence videos to date. The hotel and Lam will be the subject of the latest true crime docu-series from the director of Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes Joe Berlinger. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel will premiere on Netflix on February 10, 2021.
