In Beautiful Boy, the 22-year-old actor teams up with Steve Carell to portray real-life father and son David and Nic Sheff. The screenplay is based on their memoirs, chronicling the family's experience with addiction. Also starring Amy Ryan and Maura Tierney, the film is set to premiere October 12, 2018.

Netflix's upcoming limited series Maniac has already established its bizarre pharmaceutical premise with a few trailers. To further tease the show's dark background, the streaming giant released this grainy, VHS-style promo featuring Justin Theroux's creepy Dr. James K. Mantleray and Rome Kanda as Dr. Muramoto. The 10-episode trip starts September 21, 2018.

No human has been to the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. Well, that's about to change. Although the rocket hasn't even been built yet, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that his company had officially signed the first private passenger to board the BFR launch vehicle and fly around the Moon. That person is Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa. The fashion tycoon has bought the entire first flight and it's scheduled to take off as early as 2023.
