How An Eames Lounge Chair Is Made
Made from molded plywood and leather, the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman is one of the most iconic pieces of furniture ever made. The piece was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956 and has been furnishing the living rooms, dens, and even the Museum of Modern Art ever since. Now, 60 years later the set is still in production at factories in Kentwood and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
