Lee at Appomattox Court House, marking the beginning of the end of the American Civil War, actor John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Abraham Lincoln at the Ford Theater in Washington D.C. For 12 days after, a manhunt was on for the most notorious criminal in American history. Manhunt is an account of how Booth, a popular actor, was able to shoot Lincoln, escape from a crowded theater, and run from authorities for over a week. The limited series comes to Apple TV+ on March 15, 2024.
