The rise of the personal computer saw a new kind of video game — the simulation. The technology could allow normal people to experience things they might not ever experience in real life, like traveling to the stars, dogfighting in the skies over Europe and the Pacific, and racing automobiles at the highest level of motorsport. Formula One has had its brand attached to many games over the years, from the earliest pixelated titles to modern simulations that create a photorealistic version of the fastest cars on the planet.
HBO is bringing author Liane Moriarty's 2014 novel Big Little Lies to the small screen. The limited series stars Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Shailene Woodley as three mothers who meet at their children's elementary school. They quickly become friends, and each of them shares a secret that none of them are aware of — and leads to tragic consequences. Big Little Lies premieres in 2017.
