Before there were iPhones in everyone's pocket, filming concerts was an art and there was no better artist than Mike "The Mike" Millard. As a homage to the late taper, archivist and producer Erik Flannigan attempted to recreate the "juicy sonic magic" by using the same AKG 451E microphones and a restored Nakamichi 550 cassette deck the master used in the 70s to film The National at the Greek Theater last September. Along with this 10-minute documentary, the band has released the recordings as a cassette box set titled Juicy Song Magic for Record Store Day.
