The New Look
World War II is over, but the fashion revolution has just begun. Set in 1940s Paris, this series from Apple TV follows the rise of fashion icon Christian Dior. The French fashion house launched its first collection on February 12, 1947, and earned the name "New Look" from the editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar, Carmel Snow. It not only revived haute couture in France but sparked a rivalry among fellow designers, including Coco Chanel. Starring Ben Mendelsohn, Juliette Binoche, Maisie Williams, and John Malkovich, The New Look will begin streaming on February 14, 2024.
