Villa Lotus

When your idea of a getaway includes a remote location and impeccably designed digs, look no further than Villa Lotus. The three-bedroom stone and concrete home is situated on a hillside in Morocco's Essaouira. The natural facade is left exposed on the interior and framed with rough-cut timber beams. Although it's enveloped in rustic materials, the inside is adorned with a mix of contemporary artwork and iconic mid-century modern furniture. The whole thing is wrapped around a central courtyard where an L-shaped swimming pool offers views reaching the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.
