Vollebak Indestructible Puffer
Vollebak has taken the puffer jacket — traditionally one of the weakest and most delicate pieces of clothing you can buy - and rebuilt it from the strongest fibre known today. Dyneema Black is 15x stronger than steel, which is why it's used in body armour and anti-ballistic vehicle armour. The Indestructible Puffer was originally launched in 2019. After three years in R&D the pioneering clothing company has achieved another first by making Dyneema Black waterproof. Constructed with millions of tiny pores, a membrane now allows sweat to escape while keeping rain and snow out. All the jacket's seams are reinforced with heavy duty bonding to make it fully waterproof, there's an adjustable hood and a cord-tightening hem with a Cordura pull, while its recycled fill insulation and fleece lining will keep you warm down to -30°C.
