Vollebak Shielding Suit

Before the Curiosity Rover was sent to search for signs of life on Mars, every single one of its components had to be tested here on Earth. So NASA created an electromagnetic shielding tent that was designed to completely block out external electromagnetic radiation during testing. Vollebak has used the same technology to build the Shielding Suit. The exterior is crafted from metalized ripstop nylon from Shieldex in Germany with a 17% silver plating composition. This allows it to block out radio waves and microwaves in the frequency range of 0.2GHz to 10GHz - which includes WiFi, Bluetooth, Ku-band satellites, and radar systems. It also deflects mid and long-wave infrared radiation, hiding you from infrared cameras, and the silver also kills bacteria. To complete the shield, multiple phone shielding pockets work like Faraday cages, blocking access to devices regardless of whether they're switched on or off.
