Whiskey Island
We'd love it if this was an island had a whiskey spring, or just floated in a whiskey sea. Then again, if that were the case, we'd probably already own it. Instead, Whiskey Island is named for its bootlegging past. The 3.1 acre property sits in the St. Lawrence River just minutes from the Canadian border, and is home to an eight bedroom 19th-century lodge, a swimming deck, and multiple docks that were once used to smuggle whiskey into New York during the prohibition era.
