Wild Cherry Supper Club
Independent film studio A24 reopened the century-old Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC's West Village after a multi-year renovation. Inside the theater lies Wild Cherry, a 45-seat spot designed by Zeb Stewart and helmed by chefs Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr of Frenchette. Fittingly, the space is equal parts cinematic and approachable, with dark green banquettes, a horseshoe-shaped bar, and checkerboard floors. The menu mirrors the surroundings, with raw seafood leading way to heartier fare like cheeseburgers, a Denver-cut steak for two, and a lobster club. Not to be missed are the thoughtful reimaginings of classic cocktails, including the shareable Scorpion Bowl.
