Each element of the cooler is eco-friendly, with housings and hardware made from corrosion-resistant aluminum and steel. The top doubles as a bamboo cutting board, and tackle-box hinges open to reveal natural compostable wool to replace the conventional polyurethane foam insulation found in virtually all hard coolers. The Wooly even features handles inspired by vintage seatbelt buckles that are able to support up to 100 pounds.
