Zenith El Primero A384 Revival Watch
Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the El Primero — the movement many consider to be the world's first automatic chronograph — Zenith is releasing the final installment of three special timepieces. Aptly named the A384 Revival after the groundbreaking watch, the new model was created using a reverse engineering approach where the original was digitized via laser and scanned to produce the most accurate 3D concept. In addition to the 37mm matte-finished steel case and lacquered white and black tachymeter dial, the Revival adds upgraded protection in the form of sapphire crystal, an exhibition caseback, and the brand new El Primero 400 movement with a 50-hour power reserve. The A384 will be available this fall with either a black leather strap with rubber lining or with an integrated metal ladder bracelet option — another homage to the original.
