Antithesis Yacht

A modernist home floating atop the water, the Antithesis Yacht is in many ways the opposite of most modern megayachts. The multi-floor design from Rishi Soman uses rectangular volumes to house and separate the various areas of the vessel. Living and sleeping areas are contained with the uppermost floating volume, along with an all glass bridge, while downstairs you'll find an elevated infinity pool above the huge patio that opens to the sea. A black carbon fiber hull provides a contrast to typical white hulls, and a helipad provides easy tranport to and from the ship.

  • Ikea Sladda Bicycle

Designed to be as simple and dependable as their furniture, the Ikea Sladda Bicycle brings the company's Swedish sensibilities to your daily commute. It's powered by a rust-proof belt drive that's paired with an integrated automatic two-gear system to make the bike virtually maintenance-free. Its aluminum frame is coated with two layers of laquer for added protection, and provides a rugged yet lightweight platform. Front disc and rear coaster brakes give you plenty of stopping power, and a host of accessories, including racks and a matching trailer, let you outfit it to suit your needs.

  • Ellipse Smart Bike Lock

Biking instead of driving to work is smart. So is the Ellipse Smart Bike Lock. It keeps your bike secure without the need for keys, unlocking over Bluetooth when your phone is in range, or via a hidden touchpad. A built-in accelerometer can send you alerts if your bike is disturbed and alert others should you crash, and a built-in solar panel keeps the battery charged up. Dual locking mechanisms — one on each side — provide the last leg of security, making a thief cut through the 17mm thick steel bar twice to make off with your wheels.
