1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider

The origin of the Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider is all in the name — a car created for California and its winding coastal highways. Over the six-year lifespan of the LWB California, only 106 were made between 1957 and 1963. The car carries the famous Columbo V12 and some of the best bodywork this side of the legendary 250 GTO. The example here was sold new in Geneva — a far cry from its California inspiration — and is the seventh LWB to leave the factory. The car has gone from Switzerland to Japan before finally landing in the place it was named after, where it was restored and received Ferrari Classiche certification. The car has been shown and driven, from the Pebble Beach Concours to the California Mille and Colorado Grand tours. As one of the earliest California Spiders, this example will be highly sought after at auction.
